Food Not Bombs

Keith McHenry, the co-founder of Food Not Bombs, is visiting the Gainesville Civic Media Centre tomorrow at 7pm. After standing up for human rights in Orlando, he was arrested and has now been released from a 17 day stay in Volusia County jail.

Although Orlando has gone out of its way to deter Food Not Bombs and those volunteering with the organization, Keith McHenry, and those who work with his cause, are determined to get the message out there. Keiths' positive attitude and sunny disposition may seem worn, but it's clear from the strength of his campaign that Foods Not Bombs is here to stay.

Come out to the Civic Media Center and hear what Keith has to say. Be prepared to learn what you can do to help Orlando Food Not Bombs, from phone calls to the local officials to donations of time or money. All contributions will help. There are many volunteers who risk being arrested, and there are many homeless and hungry people who rely on the charity of Foods Not Bombs, so please come out and show your support.
