Event Description

Let's meet up at Kate's Fish Camp and get acquainted around the camp fire.

We'll paddle out Prairie Creek to view the full moon over Newnan's Lake.

Bring your kayak, comfy clothes, flashlight, snacks and drink.

Optional camp chair and a friend to join you would be nice.

I will bring glow necklaces and snacks to share, so please RSVP to let me know you will be there. Otherwise, bring whatever you like. Alcohol is allowed.

If you don't have a kayak they will be available on site for $15.00 to paddle members. Canoe and kayak discounts for campers!

Kate’s Fish Camp is an old-time fish camp that has been

family owned and operated since 1961.

Kate’s is located at the intersection of Prairie creek and Hawthorne road.

Kate’s has direct access to Newnan’s Lake and The Gainesville-Hawthorne trail.
