Soft Exposure Poetry Reading

Hello Friends of Soft Exposure!

Join us tomorrow, Wednesday April 22, for an evening of featured
writer readings and open mic poetry. We'll be at our usual spot at
Infusion Tea in College Park, 1600 Edgewater Drive, Orlando, 32804,
407 999-5255. The open-mic sign-up sheet will be out by 6:30 and the
featured readings will start at 7 with the poetry open mic following.
Come out to hear some wonderful local talent and to share 5 minutes of
your own work!

Kathy Burkett is a recent graduate of the UCLA Extension Creative
Writing Certificate program and is two classes away from finishing her
Bachelor's degree in English. She dropped out of high school at age
16 due to mental illness and has battled with it ever since. Her
poetry has been published in print and online in various publications
including Nerve Cowboy, Right Hand Pointing, Revelry, and Poetry SZ.
She also makes visual and sound art. She is happily married, and she
and her husband are owned by two amazingly cute Dachshunds.

J Bradley is the host of the Broken Speech Poetry Slam held Thursdays
at Stardust Video and Coffee at 9:30 p.m, and will be doing a special
Earth Day set. I'll send his bio out later, so look for it!
