Event Description

The Local Intergovernmental Team (LIT) - County Environmental Protection Department, County Health Dept., GRU, City Manager's office and other Technical Consultants will hold the first of two public meetings to discuss proposed comments to the EPA on the proposed cleanup plan for Koppers. At this workshop the LIT will present the plan and the recommendations they plan to make to the City/County for discussion and public input. Since the Commissioners are politicians, not technicians, they listen carefully to what staff recommends. You can influence that process by attending this meeting.
