Living for the Present

I read somewhere, I think it was 365 Tao, that you should live in the present. You have a date arranged to go to the theater on Saturday night. Don't daydream about it while you should be working. You'll wind up in your seat at the show and regretting that your work isn't done when you could be sailing up the Nile with Cleopatra. Ming-dao Deng did a far better job with this meditation than I just did in my weak interpretation, so I recommend you read Ming's version. And, I intend to refine this thought for you. But, the part about "sailing up the Nile with Cleopatra" rings in my memory.
