Dangerously organic!
Advice requested on purchasing a used espresso maker
I found several espresso makers for sale, used:
1) RENEKA Commercial Espresso expresso Machine
"I received this commercial machine in a trade for someone owing me money. I dont know much about this unit. If you are looking to purchase one of these, obviously you know more about these then me. I pluged this machine in only for a few seconds to see if it would turn on. It runs on 110 volts. Plugs in anywhere. I here the pump running and the lights came on. Thats all I know. This is a single group with 2 baskets included. 1 single cup, and 1 double cup. I was told that it does not have alot of hours on it. I was also told that this was a very expensive machine when purchased. (about $4000.)?? ....Sold AS IS...best offer"
2) Capresso C1000 fully automatic coffee, cappucino espresso machine. Sells for 700 new. Excellent condition, little use. Grinds, taps, expels used grind auto. Makes up to 2 cups the same time. Has manual. $290.
3) For sale brand new top-of-the-line Super Automatic Espresso Machine by Saeco. This machine sells for $2100 at buy.com. You can also go to the manufacturer's website, http://www.saeco-usa.com/ to read more. Look for Talea line. There is also a manual in pdf there that you can download. The machine is brand new in box and never used. It does not include the optional milk island. I am only asking $1300, $800 less than buy.com price.
4) Gaggia espresso and cappuccino machine. It is a Gaggia Syncrony Digital. It is about 5 or 6 years old. Synchrony automatically grinds, doses, tamps, brews, and dispenses a perfect cup. The used grounds are ejected into a self-contained box. The built-in burr grinder is adjustable for a finer or coarser grind. A bypass doser can be used for pre-ground coffee. Holds up to 8 espresso cups on the electrically warmed stacking surface. Easy to use and clean.
