Beetsa Party

It was a full, full moon over McRorie Community Garden. The owls hooted, the doves cooed, and the air was full of electricity, misty with the setting dew and clouds.

What's Beetsa? Why, it's pizza made with beet sauce, of course. Beets were ground, tortillas were made with homemade baking powder (of tartar), the beetsauce had tomato and was topped with habanero cheese, yum.

Also in attendance was one Niona roommate, and Zoobird kombucha, some buckwheat veg ala Mycol Stevens Finca recipe, and (if I may say so) outstanding cornbread made with organic spelt wheat. A good time was had by all. Let us all say thanks. Thanks!
