Hi all
to sum up the last winter's slow but painful process of converting a
forrest-found Crescent Världmästarcykel into a CreZENt Pista Pursuit.
The original condition was this:
Plenty of work, removing the jammed parts, cleaning etc was done. The broken front fork was ditched into the recycling bin. Some excellent bodywork was done by Mr Olli Erkkilä (as described earlier),
this was the status after his magic.
Then the process was freezed due to my "workshop" being my balcony, and the weather being below 0 degrees Centigrade.(a.k.a. Winter). When spring started showing some marks I picked up the cans of paint and dived into the balcony again. Removing rest of the original paint, undercoating it with matte white, top coating with fluorescent orange, applying four layers of matching lacquer.
Picked up the components that I had beel collecting here and there during the whole process, and bolting them in. I had a problem installing the base part of the steerer bearing to the front fork so I had to use another one temporarily. It will be changed to more "road" fork a.s.a.p.
Here is the complete bike taken out for the first time in her new outlook. Isn't she a beauty? =D
