Bike of the Day {BotD} ::: Fidusa - from Athens, Pete describes this bike: "The frame maker, Mr. Giorgos Vogiatzis is an ex-Greek champion and national team rider and has run his company since 1985. He still builds all the frames by himself from the island Rhodes and all the frames are hand made. Fidusa (or Fidousa) was the name of the island Rhodes in antiquity thus the name of the company. It is 54 c-c (seat tube) and 54,5 (c-c toptube) - and it was exactly what I ordered. Columbus SL. Took about 4 months from the order to delivery. You can also see the map of the island stamped in the fork crown. A local company helped me to build it up - I used some components of my "current" bikes and some new." Pete's on Zoobird and a member of the Bike Zoo. http://www.zoobird.com/profile/petekorhonen He's posted many bike stories and projects as discussions here in the Bike Zoo.
