St. Vincent de Paul has a clothing van that goes to the Bo Diddley Plaza in Gainesville, FL every Tuesday night at 7 p.m. The van is fitted out with racks, drawers and bins. All the clothing therein is clean, sized, and divided into men's and women's outfits. It is a very nice service. The folks who were mainly responsible for making this happen are having to let go of the project, so we need new volunteers. If you can volunteer with this project contact Gary Matthews, perhaps one Tuesday night at Bo Diddley Plaza.
MY CONTRIBUTION TO PUBLIC HEALTH
Germs spread from hand to hand
throughout the land
from friend to friend,
it's really time to break the trend,
so when you cough and when you sneeze,
put your face into your sleeve.
