Please feel free to give people the number to reach me directly if they want me to make special arrangements to drop off stockings – to get me directly instead of waiting in the helpline queue, donors can call the main United Way number, 331-2800 and ask for extension 209. They will either get me or my voice mail. Please assure them that no matter how busy I am, I always have time to say thank you to a stocking stuffer – the wonderful energy they bring with them is one of the things that sustains me through the coldness of this season.
