Tent City - Some Further Thoughts

It is time to speak out. There is a city commission meeting this coming Thursday. Citizen Comment is at 6 p.m. We should pack the hall with people who will comment on this tragedy.

We need emails to the commissioners and the city manager, letters to the editor. The newsletter about Tent City needs to be forwarded far and wide. This is a situation where silence equals consent. Do not consent to this.

Service providers are stretched very thin these days, with one appalling situation after another that must be dealt with. We need the community to act now.
