Crestone, CO

Crestone, CO is a community in the Sangre de Cristo mountains, far from the nearest town. You'd have to drive over a half hour to get to a hospital or to buy milk.

It's full of earth ships, spiritual dwellings and has a very small downtown.

There's a local newspaper, a couple of restaurants and a store or two. Not much more.

The scenery is breathtakingly beautiful.
