We miss our trees...

About this time in 2004 we had a tragedy called Hurricane Charley. Our lovely streets were lined with magestic Water Oaks and hanging Spanish moss. What a difference it made to see many of those beautiful trees go! They had shallow root systems. Let's not forget the tremendous power of the hurricane. Hurricane season is upon us here in Florida. Soon, we'll post some shots of the lovely trees the city provided to replenish what was lost in the storm.
