I have a very inefficient juicer that produces huge amounts of pulp...
You can use leftover carrot pulp to make a delicious soup. I found this recipe on the grocery store bulk carrot wrapper, but I tore it before I read it, so this is the abridged version:
Carrot Pulp
Celery Stalk or 2
An Onion
1/4 cup Oil
3 14 oz cans vegetable or chicken broth
juice of an orange
2 Tbsp minced fresh ginger
1 cup heavy cream or yoghurt...or sour cream
and a handful of sliced almonds
Saute' carrots, onion and celery in oil. Then add the rest of the ingredients.
Voila'! Looks like a good use of the leftover carrot pulp from the juicer.
Gotta run...I need some ginger and celery to make this soup...
