    David: Thanks for the update. Did you plants plants or seeds? I always planted some plants to get an early start for winter vegies, as well as seeds to keep the vegies coming in after the early planting of the starts, that way I'd have later ongoing vegies into the spring. This works for the lettuce, kale, broc and others. I'll write something about my first Seattle garden, which is about the same as in Gainesville. Good luck with all the plantings. Enjoy it all.
