I notice we have some of the same interests. I teach piano(all styles of music), do church music and have many other interests. What is your interest in music? I'd like to invite you to become my friend on here and to join my group, Environmental Zoo. See you there?
Hey Michael,
I thought you had a bike? :)
When I get back from my voice over workshop I'll need to promote myself and I'll send you a link!
See you on the trail perhaps,
brenda
I mentioned you and the prairie to Shmal today in an email. I shopped for bicycles and am fantasizing about prairie watching on the trail again. This time, I'll bring a book or a sketch pad...and maybe binoculars...
Michael,
Yes, I do indeed get inspired at the Prairie and it is my sanctuary.
Here's something to "explore" along the trail and something I am now involved in. I hope this post and all the links work...
TOMORROW: Saturday July 12, reliably forecast to be one of the hottest, steamiest summer days in recorded history, a cool event will be happening indoors at the Hipp. And you are invited.
Benefit to save the beautiful historic church in Rochelle.
Susan Marynowski, Sally Morrison and Nancy Lasseter have teamed up with Alachua Conservation Trust, and along with the help of many volunteers, they have been working hard in order to save this church. Collectively they have the passion, expert guidance, and perseverance needed to do the work, but lack the funds needed to keep the work going. Damage to this unique "Gothic Revival" building from a leaking roof and a less than secure foundation would be a great loss for our community. View photos
From 1pm to 4pm enjoy a silent auction, local storytelling, folk music by the Dim Lights, finger food, beverages for purchase at the HIPP. At 4:30, stay and watch the movie Young @ Heart, starring elders who are bold and daring, who sing with passion and inspire all ages all around the U.S. See movie trailer and Hipp description for more details.
Bring your checkbook, and come and enjoy this summer afternoon with us.
Feel free to pass this email on to your friends.

Can't make it? That's ok. You can contribute at ACT's secure website.
Hi Brenda! You know, I found the McRorie Community Garden that inspired Zoobird on the way back to Payne's Prairie on bicycle. Thanks for telling me so many things about the Prairie. It leaves me excited looking forward to all there is to explore there. And, the simplicity of just sitting as you do and contemplating the expanse of the prairie.
I hope you find things here at Zoobird that you enjoy. And, that encourage you to write those inspiring thoughts so others can be aware of them, too.
