Thank you for writing. I will look forward to corresponding with about Conservation Initiative for the Asian Elephant (CIFAE) after I return from working in Thailand and India. I started CIFAE with friend and colleague, Amirthraj Williams (WWF) in 2000.
A short note: we help grassroots NFP-NGOs protect Asian elephant habitat by determining what the indigenous and rural people sharing elephant, rhino and tiger habitat, and then desing and implement sustainability plans to improve the quality of thier life and by extension, the quality of the elephants' lives as well.
