latest blog entry from INDIGOGreen features some thoughts on Haiti and the Barrels of Hope program where we are raising money to send hundreds of earth-bag shelters in rain barrels for rebuilding efforts there.
Yucatan communities have the hip social patterns we seek out in places like Santa Fe, NM, Crested Butte, CO and Portland, OR. "The master in the art of living makes little distinction between his
work and his play, his labor and his leisure, his mind and his body, his information and his recreation, his love and his religion. He hardly knows which is which. He simply pursues his vision of excellence at whatever he does, leaving others to decide whether…Continue

Do you do any form of Qi Gong? I first learned about Qi Gong at the Seaside Hostel in Oregon. I arrived one day and saw a note at the front desk that said "Qi Gong 9:00 AM for anyone interested - free!"
These "Instructables" videos are great! No muss, no fuss. I wish I'd seen them to begin with, but it's really so much fun discovering how-to yourself, the way I went has been fine.…
Wow! It worked! I was a little concerned when I saw the Kombucha after about 2 weeks because there was an irregular film on top. The photo below, from the Wikipedia Kombucha article leads me to believe the film on my Kombucha is normal. I'm… Continue

My guitar teacher turned me on to the wonders of juicing. I'd drop by for a lesson and he'd say "Hey, you want something to drink?" He had a juicer that looked like it was commercial, and a press too. He'd make some delicious juices, usually with coconut milk added. After he juiced the stuff, he'd take the pulp and put it in a press that looked like… Continue
