Have you ever heard of a tabebuia tree? They are pretty. They grow great big. When they bloom they are covered in beautiful yellow flowers.

I guess if you try really hard, you can read and pronounce its name without any help.

But basically, here’s how you pronounce it. Tabba booyah.

There are a couple of them on the side of the house here. They are pretty when they bloom.

This is what they look like when they bloom.

I was pulling some weeds in the yard and I found a volunteer that just started growing in the middle of the yard. So I’m gonna leave it there because obviously it likes being there.

This is what it looks like. It’s the thing with those droopy seeds hanging from it. It’s growing in the middle of another plant.

I’m not sure how it got there because the other ones are pretty far away. Maybe a bird brought one of the seeds over.

They grow fast. They are just the right kind of ornamental plant to have in the middle of your front yard. Some people don’t like ornamental plants because you can’t eat them. What can I say? I like them because they’re pretty.

Sure, they make a huge mess when they shed their blooms. Who cares? It’s organic and it goes away fast.
