Dangerously organic!
It's so cool living in the Swamp. We have Tokay geckos in the area. They are escaped housepets. They are nocturnal and grow to be very big if they don't get eaten by our predator birds (hawks and ospreys) which I refer to as Pterodactyls because they sound like you'd expect prehistoric creatures to sound. They are beautiful, too. Lime green with orange dots. They are called Tokay's because they make a distinctive sound that sounds like "tokay, tokay..." I got this photo of a young one this morning. I'd guess he is about 6-8 inches long. They are fast and hate the light, so this was hard to get. They are also aggressive, so I had to keep a little distance because they bite.
Do you have any interesting creatures around your house?
