Dangerously organic!
Can you see it? There's a tiny sprout in the upper right corner. Tiny, tiny, but it's coming up.
These sprouts started out in the grocery store and then germinated about 4 days in my kitchen.
They may have done fine just planted in the garden as seeds, but the elements play havoc with seed sprouting, so I just gave them a head start.
I wondered whether I planted the sprouted seeds too deeply or let them dry out, but yes they are just fine. I used some old sprout trays and compost. These are little cherry tomatoes. Each year I plant them and they grow very well.
Every meal I eat that uses food from the garden is nicer because it tastes better and I grew it myself. I know what went into the produce I'm putting into my body.
