What's your x-c bike like?

Yes, I have had some interesting experiences while hiking. Once in Washington state, I was hiking alone and a big black bear crossed the road in front of me. I was glad he was minding his own business and I probably increased my pace a bit to get back home. More later.

No, I haven't done any hiking in the areas you have but would love to sometime. When you get back from those hikes I'd love to hear about it. You probably have had some interesting experiences with your hiking.
